The Lipton Tea Story
At present we no longer have the luxury to harvest tea leaves and process it personally that is why some hardworking individuals solved it for us. Ready to drink tea were made by these individuals who harvested it themselves and then mass produced it. Ready to drink teas are those teas in teabags that are often packed in 10s or 50s per box.Since we no longer have to harvest and brew tea, drinking tea is made easier. Tea mass production has become a booming business ever since it was born. One of the most established tea company is Lipton Tea. Each company has its own story and the Lipton tea has its own as well.
When the owner of the Lipton tea acquired five bankrupted plantations in Ceylon it sparked the start of the companys tea story. Years after that the Lipton Tea Company has never stopped producing tea. With clever advertising and catchy names the products of the Lipton Tea Company have successfully invaded the homes of loyal tea consumers. This tea story has hopefully shed light on the long history of tea.
