A Not So Ordinary Kombucha Tea
A Not So Ordinary Kombucha Tea
The word tea is often associated with little square bags known as teabags. Tea bags contain crushed tea tea leaves that come from tea shrubs. However, the Kombucha tea does not come from tea shrubs instead it is made from a mushroom that carries the same name, Kombucha. Although most food types extracted from mushrooms is generally called a broth, the Kombucha Tea begs to differ. Making Kombucha tea is a challenge because unlike a tea in a teabag, making Kombucha tea takes five to six days to complete. In addition to that you will have to find that particular type of mushroom first, once you find it you will have to allow it to mature and then you have to strain it. Once the mushroom is ready you can now start making Kombucha tea using the usual procedure for making other types of tea.
The process of making Kombucha tea is time consuming that is why this type of tea is not so popular in the West. Considering how the people in the West lived, the reason is fairly obvious. It may not be that popular but that Kombucha tea like other teas is still loaded with benefits. Now would be a good time to try the Kombucha Tea.
